Frank’s Bio

Education and work experience:

Frank Romano graduated in 1979 from Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, Montana with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Land Surveying. He worked for a local Yucca Valley engineering firm for 14 years, first as Survey Crew Chief, and then as Chief of the Survey Department.  He obtained his professional Land Surveyors license in California in 1990 and in Nevada in 1991.  Frank has served Caltrans as a Transportation Surveyor while also having served as an Adjunct Professor at a community college in Orange, CA.  He still serves on the College’s Land Surveying Technical Advisory Committee.

 

In 1993 he launched his own business, Associated Land Surveyors, what is known today as Frank Romano Surveying.  Since then, the company has been serving most areas of the Morongo Basin.  Frank has performed a wide variety of surveying activities including construction, topographic, boundary, flood zone determination, and several city projects for the Town of Yucca Valley.   He was a resident of Yucca Valley for 22 years, until relocating to the City of Orange in 2002 where he currently resides with his wife.

 

Frank Romano’s breadth of experience and knowledge contributes to the unmatchable quality of his work.  Thus, he has earned much respect from his associates in the field and is known for his commitment to producing quality work and adapting his methods to use the latest technology.  In addition, he is committed to running an honest and professional business. 

 

Frank likes his work so much that he enjoys giving back to the community by doing volunteer survey presentations for elementary through high school aged students. He is also open to opportunities to give lectures and conference seminars.
